What to Expect

Deciding to undergo orthodontic treatment can be daunting. We are thrilled that you have taken the opportunity to enhance how you look and feel through braces! At Chelian Orthodontics, we are here to help maximize the potential of your teeth and leave you with a radiant smile that you will love.

Initial Consultation:

Your first visit with us is to get a thorough understanding of your bite and teeth positioning along with your oral health.  We will review your medical history and take records of your teeth with Pictures and Xrays (all complimentary).   All our Xrays are digital and with the latest technology to ensure minimal radiation and safety for our patients.  Most importantly Dr. Chelian personally checks each patient’s bite to ensure the records are accurate and evaluate true bite.  Then we will give you the best option for treatment along with any possible options in treatment plans. 

Once you are comfortable and understand the treatment plan in its entirety, our treatment coordinator will go over Fees involved and set up a payment plan and options that suit your family.  

If you are happy with our office, Treatment plan and fees.  We would be happy to get you started the same day!  We understand that taking time off work and school for our appointment and if we can save you an extra visit, we are happy to do so.  Of course you are always welcome to schedule your appointment if you prefer another day.  

Procedures conducted and reasons:

• Pictures of your teeth to evaluate the bite.
• Pictures of your Face and smile to evaluate symmetry and smile line
• X-RAYS
• Panographic: It shows us all the teeth present along with your Joints and sinus. 

• Cephalometric:  This is the HEAD x-ray and very important to see the upper and lower jaw bone.  Also important to see how your teeth angulation and lip position.
