Hi guys! I am Dr. Chelian. I have been serving the Nashua Nh and Massachusetts area since 2007. I graduated from Boston University where I completed my Specialty training in Orthodontics and Dental school. I am proud to say that I have treatedd over 6000 cases during the last almost 20yrs and of which I have treated over 1500 Invisalign & clear aligner cases.

Why did I choose Orthodontics?

I LOVE puzzles and problem solving. Aligning teeth is basically solving a puzzle. You have to Fit all the teeth in the Jaw that will give the patient a Beautiful smile. However the trick is to do it in a way that will be Healthy, Safe and Comfortable! No one person is the same, everyone is unique in their own way, size of the teeth, missing teeth, and there are many variables that have to be considered and analyzed. In the end you choose your treatment plan that will give the patient the Best FACIAL HARMONY!.  My Treatment plans are my pride. 

How did we become a large practice?

You become the people that you surround yourself with! I have always taken an interest in continuing education. I am a proud Nerd but then I joined an amazing Study club surrounded by the 100 Best Orthodontists around the country. Some are mentors, some are just geniuses, Leaders, Innovators but All of them are My Friends!  When you are able to surround yourself with people better than you, it’s just not possible to let them down and be anything less. 

Who am I as a person?

I am Father, Husband, Brother and oldest Son to my Amazing Family! I grew up in San Diego, Ca, but fell in love with the green and urban lifestyle of Boston.  My parents instilled kindness and love (tough love ;) in each of my three brothers. I am proud to say that all three of my brothers are also Orthodontists.  (Aloha Orthodontics and Urban Orthodontics). Dentistry didn’t stop there as my wife is also a General Dentist and practices in Lowell, MA (Lowell Dental Arts).  These are the values I practice with and hope to instill in our Son Viren Thakore Chelian. 

What do I do for Fun?

I have a VARIETY OF HOBBIES!! I LOVE POKER, Texas Holdem and Omaha! It is definitely in my bucket list to win a WSOP ring or bracelet (8 final tables but closest was 2nd). I shoot skeet and trap. Love to Cook and entertain, I truly love to see anyone having a good time. I can go anywhere, meet anyone and know no one and still have a great time. I love wine, whiskey and good people!.  

Above all my greatest and uncompromising lifestyle that will stay all my life is my spiritual practice of yoga and meditation. It has been the greatest gift given to me and I am eternally grateful. You never change as a person by it, you just start to realize who you are. I am happy with my progress.
