Orthodontic Assistant

Our company is growing so our team needs to as well! We are looking to add fun-loving, hard-working people to our family at Chelian Orthodontics to go the extra mile to do whatever it takes to keep patients smiling.

What we’re looking for:

• An orthodontic assistant who has experience in an orthodontic office.
• Someone who has a proficient understanding of orthodontic terminology and would like to build upon their knowledge and skills.
• Motivation to use your individual talents to grow professionally within our practice.
• Commitment and dedication to the growth of our entire team.
• Flexibility in a busy environment.
• An attitude that encourages and makes others around you show off their smile!

What you will do:

• Retie upper and lower arches.
• Place power chains as needed.
• Change archwires.
• Take record including, but not limited to, x-rays, dental photographs, and impression.
• Educate patients and family members on the care for their new appliance, pre and post orthodontic procedures, and any questions they will have about their treatment.
• Learn new skills every day!

Our team travels to both Nashua and Danvers locations which allows us to bring the same culture, environment, and energy to both locations. This is a full-time position.

• Educate patients and family members on the orthodontic treatment Dr. Chelian recommends
• Facilitate treatment communication with general dentist
• Overcome financing obstacles to initiate treatment
• Come up with creative ways to bring people in for consultations
• Learn new skills every day!
